SIAM IMR23: Research Notes

The SIAM International Meshing Roundtable Workshop 2023 solicits research notes that will be presented at various sessions throughout the conference. Research notes describe new ideas, exploratory research, preliminary results, or updates to previously published research in the field of meshing.

Research notes are submissions ranging from a single paragraph abstract to short papers (not exceeding 4 pages). Please see formatting requirements below for more details.

Research Notes

The SIAM IMR committee will review research notes upon submission. Accepted submissions will be published on the IMR website. Talks will be presented at the conference, and each submission will be given a 10-minute slot for presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. The SIAM IMR committee will award a prize for the best presentation of a research note.

There is no limit to the number of papers and research notes an author can submit. However, at least one of the authors of papers and research notes must register for the IMR and each paid IMR registrant will be limited to one presentation (paper or research note). All authors and presenters are encouraged to also submit posters and/or meshing contest entries.

Special Issue

Research notes considered to be of exceptional interest will be offered the opportunity to develop and submit a full-length paper to the special issue. Submissions to the special issue will be fully reviewed before acceptance. More details will follow after the conference.
